Araña

Araña is the name of a super-heroin belonging to the universe of Marvel Comics. It was creates by the scenario writer Fiona Avery and the draftsman Mark Brooks on the basis of idea of Joe Michael Straczynski.

Created in the last grinding of the series Amazing Fantasy (series whose first version had revealed the character of Spider-Man) whose episodes devoted to Araña were published in the magazine Spider-Man Except Série , Anya Sofia Corazon is a young high-school girl, enough real tomboy, who is discovered capacities related to the spiders. The character is related to the reinterpretation of the capacities of Spider-Man made by Joe Michael Straczynski in the pages of the series Amazing Spider-Man . Following these episodes, it obtains its own series, Araña: The Heart off the Spider , which will stop at the end of 12 episode plus a special episode putting in scene Araña and Spider-Man. In these two series, Anya belongs to an organization founded by Ezekiel and fights the " guêpes" while seeking the truth on the death of his/her mother.

Araña was re-examined in the pages of " " Marvel TEAM-Up " " (published in VF in the Spider-Man magazine) scenarized by Robert Kirkman where it tries to escape an attack from great scale aiming at killing all the supermen.

Araña will be also present as a supporting character in the episodes post-Civilian War of the series ms Marvel starting from the 18th episode.
