Aquin is a port of Haiti, capital of the district of the same name. It is in the south of the island of Santo Domingo, with 37 kilometers with the east-north-east of the Cayes. In 1950, its population was of 1799 inhabitants. Its current population is estimated at approximately: 95000 people.
