Approval

In Administrative law, the approval can be, inter alia direction, a administrative Autorisation to follow an occupation, an activity in a given field.

The administration intervenes to authorize or not an activity in this field, when it is particularly sensitive; when an error or a malevolent intention, in the activity can be really harmful for the user.

One speaks for example, of the approval of the companies of private safety, in France, which authorizes a company to carry on activities of guarding and monitoring: this approval makes it possible the competent services to check competences of the leaders, and their legal backgrounds, before making it possible the company to really function.

One also speaks about the approval of the associations:

  • approval of Defense of the consumers, of the tenants (authorizes an association required personalized legal councils, concerning consumption, the hiring, with its members, and to defend them, to even represent them in justice)
  • approval of popular education (authorizes an association to organize events related to the popular education, or to receive subsidies in this field)
In the pure associative field, approval is not only one authorization to exert such or such competence; but also the open door with good of other actions. For example, an approved association of defense of the tenants will be invited to unquestionable Instances of representation of the tenants.

In Company law

Approval is the procedure by which the Associé S with certain companies approve or refuse the transfer or the transmission of shares or action to a person. This procedure is sometimes envisaged and organized in the statutes of the company in a clause known as " clause of approval ".
