Apple (card deck)

The apple is the name of an alternative of the play of Jass which can be played 2,3 or 4 players.

Alternative with 3 players:

  1. One distributes 9 charts to each player and one turns over the first chart of the stud remaining (called blind ). This chart indicates the color asset and one can exchange it against the six.

  2. the player on the right of the donor has three possibilities:
    1. it takes the blind , in this case, it must play;
    2. it keeps its play by saying “my play”, the blind becomes available then for the following player;
    3. it refuses to take the blind and refuses to play.
  3. the player who takes the blind poses initially his charts face against the table. It does not have any more the right to look at them. The blind becomes its new handset then.
  4. Once each player decided, the holder of the six of asset can then (but not before) change its chart, in condition of course which he plays. But this exchange must be done before the beginning of the part.
  5. Each player has the right to refuse to play, except that which took the blind .
  6. With each gives, there are two putzes concerned. They are the two players who add up the most points which mark a putze each one.
  7. the one or the ones that played and which did not carry out a minimum of 21 points (announces possible included/understood) mark an apple, is an O above their putzes . They should be repurchased by crossing out them.
  8. an apple is equal to a putze in less. To cross out an apple, a putze is needed.
  9. If a player is alone to play, it marks two putzes .
  10. If two players are apples, the third marks two putzes . If two players play and that one is apple, the other mark also two putzes .
  11. the first player who adds up 7 putzes gains the part. The play can possibly continue between the remaining players.
  12. For the following part, it is the losing one which is priority blind .
