Appa

Appa is a character of fiction Avatar, the last Master of the air , the cartoon diffused by Nickelodeon. Appa is the only alive bison flying.

History

The youngest known stage of the life of Appa is when it was only one calf. It is at this time that it meets Aang for the first time. Aang advanced and offered an apple to Appa. the fact that their lives are so overlapping is with the fact that they share energy between them, as reveals it the episode entitled the Lost Days of Appa .

Appa remained in biostase at the side of Aang during hundred years until Katara and Sokka discovers them. Since then Appa was the principal means of transport of the group in their search to help Aang to control all the elements. Appa is an important member of the group in the series until it is captured by the Masters of sand.
