Apology

The apology is a literary Genre aiming at making the praise something. Speech intended to celebrate somebody, to make the praise of it. The Christians used this kind to prepare the defense of Christianity against the attacks of the pagan ones. One can thus include/understand certain works such as the Apology for Socrate.
