The apex of a Dent is the zone which finishes the root.

The apex is the single opening of the tooth.
It is by the apex that the blood-vessels and highly-strung persons can penetrate inside the tooth, until the pulp. It is thus an important zone.

Certain pathologies can be reflected on the level of this zone. In fact perish-apical pathologies will be treated by Endodontie.

In the event of violent shock on a tooth (often a higher Incisive central), there is often a rupture of the package vasculo-highly-strung person on the level of the apex, which will involve a Nécrose tooth.
