Anzat-le-Luguet
Anzat-le-Luguet is a common French, located on the canton of Ardes-on-Couze (Code postal: 63420), in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area Auvergne.
It belongs to the Regional natural park of the Volcanos of Auvergne.
Geography
Anzat-le-Luguet is located in the middle of the solid mass of the Cézallier, whose culminating point is on the commune: the Signal of Luguet (1551 m).
History

October 16th, 1586: Passage of the Queen Margot in Luguet. During its escape of Agen to the castle of Ibois, it arrives on October 16th at the end of the morning at Luguet where it dines at Louis of Rochefoucauld, count de Randan.

May 31st, 1986: Inauguration of the Versatile room, in presence in particular of Roger Quilliot (deputy and mayor of Clermont-Ferrand) and of the mayor Roger Boyer.

1er July 1995: Averse of let us hail of the size of table tennis balls, during 30 minutes on the Apcher sector - Wines-high - Bosberty. Sleep of hail: 30 cm. Dêgats: windshield and carossery of cars, roofs damaged, chenots… At this beginning of haymaking campaign, hail laid down grass of many pieces, from where losses of harvests.

26- December 27th, 1999: Storm of 1999, 35.000 m3 of wood reversed on the whole of the commune (more the disaster victim of the Puy-de-Dôme concerning the public forests). Many cut road axes several days because of snow and the trees lying. Cut electricity, restored at places after the 1er January 2000.
