Anutius Foesius
Anutius Foesius , born with Metz in 1528 and died in 1595, is a French doctor and hellenist.
He studied with Paris, returned to set at Metz in 1556, and was named by his fellow-citizens doctor of the city. It is with him mainly that one owes the rehabilitation of hippocratic medicine and the fall of the Arab doctrines.

- Hippocratis operated omnia , Frankfurt, 1595. It one of the first editions of Hippocrates, is accompanied for the first time by a Latin translation.
