Antonius van Flagstone
Antonius van Flagstone , born the November 8th 1638 with Haarlem where he died the November 28th 1708, is a scholar Dutch.
Van Dale exerted initially preaching, then the trade, and finally medicine.
Independent spirit, it wrote with knowing more that of method: De Oraculis veterum ethnicorum (Amsterdam, 1683, in-8°; 1700, in-4°), work made profitable by Fontenelle in its History of oracles ; Of Origin and progressu idololatriœ and superstitionum ( ibid , 1696, in-4°); Dissertationes IX antiquitaltibus illustrandis inservientes ( ibid , 1702, 1743, in-4°), etc
