Antonius Felix
Marcus Antonius Felix was the brother of Pallas, freed from the Roman Emperor Claude. He was named Procurateur Judaea in 52.
Suétone says that he was the husband of three queens, including two Drusilla. The first was undoubtedly girl of Ptolémée de Maurétanie and back-small-girl of large Cléopâtre and Marc Antoine. The second was a Jewish princess, girl of the old king Hérode Agrippa Ier. Third is unknown.
Felix tyrannized the Juifs and made die the large priest Jonathan. It is in front of him that appeared Paul de Tarse; it retained the apostle two years in prison. It was dislocated of its functions in 60 and replaced by Porcius Festus.
