Antoniotto (or Antoine Othon), marquis de Botta-Adorno , was born with Pavia towards 1680 and died there in 1774.
Biography
He was diplomat, soldier and statesman to the service of Habsbourg of Austria. He was successively ambassador with Berlin, then with Saint-Pétersbourg before taking the head of the imperial armies in Italy (taken Genoa in 1746) at the time of the War of succession of Austria. After the peace of Aachen (October 1748), it was indicated like Ambassador plenipotentiary with the Netherlands near the general governor, Charles of Lorraine. It arrived at Brussels in April 1749.
