Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio Jose de Sucre there Alcala February 3rd 1795 with Cumaná with the Venezuela - June 4th 1830 with Berruecos in Colombia. It was a close relation of Simón Bolívar and an independence leader South American.

Biography

Its origins & its private life

Sugar was born within an easy family from Cumaná, with the Venezuela, which at the time was divided between the King d' Espagne and a " General of Venezuela". Its origins are not really known but one can retain two theses particularly. According to a genealogist Venezuelan, Sucre would be the downward one of Charles de Succre, member of a Flemish family annoblie by the King d' Espagne to become governor of Cuba. But according to the " Lexikon of Judentums" German, Sucre would be the heir to a Jewish family Bavarian bearing the name of " Zucker".

He married Maríana Carcelén there Larrea, marchioness of Solanda and marchioness of Villarrocha.

Beginning of its military career

In 1811, Sucre joined the battalions fighting for the independence of the Spanish colonies . It quickly shows capacities of direction and in 1817 it is promoted Colonel. In 1819, at the 24 years age, he becomes the youngest leader of the army while being named Brigadier general. Following the Battle of Boyacá, he becomes a member of the close guard of Simón Bolívar.

In 1821, Simón Bolívar charges it with going to release Quito and Sucre gains a decisive victory at the time of the Bataille of Pichincha the May 24th 1822. Shortly after this victory, Bolívar and Sucre enter free Quito and Sugar is named President of the Province of Quito, while at the same time it did not wish this station.

The hero of Ayacucho

Sugar gains other victories against the Spanish forces with the Peru, in particular the August 6th 1824 at the time of the Bataille of Junín. The December 9th, Sucre captured the majority of the royal troops and their officers, of which the Vice-roi, at the time of the Bataille of Ayacucho.

Lieutenant of the Bolivar liberator Simón, it fought the successfully Spanish S and gained the victory with the battle of Ayacucho in 1824 which ensured the independence of the Spanish colonies of South America.

Elected official life president of the Bolivia in 1826, it abdicated in 1828 to present to the presidential election Colombia. He was elected, but assassinated with Berruecos (Colombia) shortly after.
