Antonio Cornazzano

Antonio Cornazzano (Piacenza towards 1430 - Ferrara 1484) is a poet, Danseur and Politician Italy N, author of a treaty of Danse.

Biography

Antonio Cornazzano receives a humanistic education , studies the Droit to the Université of His, but prefers to devote itself to the Littérature and the Poésie. He studies the dance with Domenico da Piacenza and finds at the court of Milan after 1454, where he occupies of the political offices and sign the dance with the children of François Sforza.

Its handwritten treaty Libro dell' arte LED danzare includes/understands theoretical observations on the Italian dance of the 15th century, an inventory of the steps and figures employed, and the description of 8 balletti and 3 low - dances. Written in 1455, one preserved of this treaty only the second edition of 1465.
