Antonidas
Antonidas is a fictitious character of the imaginary Monde of Warcraft .
Antonidas almost lived all its life in Dalaran, and its knowledge and its power were large. Antonidas became the chief of the Kirin Tor, a group of magus, and at the same time the leader of Dalaran while becoming archimage.
Antonidas increases its knowledge and became a very powerful archimage. It took as apprentices several people but several were not qualified for the power and the knowledge that Antonidas had accumulated after all its years. It took finally Jaina Proudmoore which had the aptitudes and wisdom necessary for such a knowledge. Antonidas sent helped Jaina of Arthas Menethil in the surveys carried out into the plague which devastated the North-East of Lordaeron.
Having known the death of King Menethil by the Hand of Arthas, his/her own son, Antonidas told the magi of Dalaran to prepare at worst with the case or something would arrive and that arrived!
Arthas and the Death-alive army which had taken the name of the Plague now, arrived in front of Dalaran threatening to shave it. Antonidas did not give him the Book of Medivh. Then Arthas began the head office of Dalaran which lasted long enough. Dalaran seemed to be able to push back them but Antonidas could not prevent them from entering the city.
Having almost offered the totality of sound mana to the protection of Dalaran, Antonidas could not prevent the army of death-alive from entering Dalaran. In spite of its old age, Antonidas beaten for the freedom of its city. In spite of will have creates by its care in the city, which inflicted heavy damage with the troops of the King Liche, that could not stop the army and Antonidas died with the Hand of the Arthas traitor.
The city was shaven after the death of Antonidas. Thus Arthas Menethil, with the chief of the worship of damnés, called upon the powerful lord Archimonde. Dalaran made that some ruins and several districts oversteered. The death-blow on Dalaran was made by the Archimonde lord. Arthas left in the ruins of Dalaran the torn spirit of Antonidas in the city or Antonidas wandered for a long time before Kael' thas, prince of Kael' thalas, releases the spirit of Antonidas.
