Antoni Lange
Antoni Lange (supposed birth date: 1861 and 1863 - deceased the March 17th 1929, born and died in Warsaw, Poland), was a Multilingue (15 languages), writer, Poète, playwright Polish. The pioneer of the Décadentisme and the Parnassus. Translator of Gustav Meyrink, Edgar Allan Poe, French Literature (Charles Baudelaire, Arthur Rimbaud, Jean Moreas, Gustave Flaubert, Theodore de Banville, Charles Marie Rene Leconte de Lisle) and literature Eastern (Sanskrit, Epopee of Gilgamesh ). Expert of Romanticism, Spiritism and Buddhism.
He was the friend of Stephan Mallarmé, Władysław Reymont und Jules Zeyer.
