Anton Mussert
Anton Adriaan Mussert (1894-1946) was a politician Dutch. Originating in the Brabant-Septentrional , it makes career in civil engineering. In the Years 1920, it militates in several organizations of extreme-right-hand side, which claim the fastening of the Flandres in the Netherlands. It is one of the founders, in 1931, of the NSB ( Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland , Mouvement national-Socialist of the Netherlands), fascistic movement of inspiration then Nazi. In November 1936, it meets Adolf Hitler. He becomes the leader of the movement in 1937.
After the invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940, he preaches alliance with the Germans and the abolition of monarchy. Mussert hopes to be placed at the head of an independent Dutch State, but the administration of the country is assumed by the leader Austrian Nazi Arthur Seyss-Inquart. In 1941, the NSB is the only Dutch party authorized by the occupant, and collaborates openly, in the civil and local administrations. Its manpower reach 100000 members then. In September 1940, Mussert gives for mission to a member of the NSB, Henk Feldmeijer, the formation of a unit of S Dutch, (Nederlandsche S). In May 1945, it is stopped for collaboration with the occupant Nazi. He is shot the May 7th, 1946, with $the Hague.
