Antoine Rigoulet
Antoine Rigoulet was Commendatory abbot of Mozac in Low-Auvergne (France) of 1613 with 1640. He died abbot of Mozac before January 30th, 1640.
He was Maître are arts, Bachelier in theology and adviser chaplain of the king. He remained with Lyon.
He obtained the direction of the Abbaye of Mozac by the Pape Paul V with the approval of the king Louis XIII, after resignation of the abbot Nicolas de Neufville.
Taking possession of the abbey
He took of it possession on March 6th 1613 in front of Jehan Desgranges royal notary, by Antoine Desmaisons canon of Saint-Cerneuf; he was installed by dom Guillaume Vergès, Prieur and Chantre of Mozac, which put to him in hands the abbey stick, made him kiss the Relique S of the saints Pierre, Paul and Jean, made it sit with the Stalle of the abbot, the first on the right while entering the chorus, in the presence of brothers Bonnet Guytard Aumônier, Anthoine Arnoux Sacristain, Amable Eydieu, Martin Rossignol and Louis Bouchereau, all religious of Mozac and Gabriel Legrand Novice and of Jehan Desmonds Curé of Riom , Gilbert Chabre and Anthoine Dumas lawyers with the Présidial of Riom, the aforementioned Dumas Baillif of Mozac, Guillaume Eschalier Clerk of the Bailliage and Jehan Faure gatekeeper of Mozac.
