Antoine Philippe Thomas Joseph Baucheron de Boissoudy
Antoine (Philippe Thomas Joseph) Baucheron de Boissoudy , born the October 12th 1864 with Cherbourg, deceased the March 17th 1926 with Paris, is a French soldier who in particular played a part during the First World War.
Wire of the admiral Philippe Baucheron de Boissoudy, it enters to Saint-Cyr military school the October 27th 1883 and leaves in 1885 as second lieutenant. It passed the University of war in 1894 - 1896.
He is Head of State major of the 39 {{E}} Division of Infantry in Toul February 10th 1909 - December 23rd 1912, then of the 68 {{E}} Division of Infantry December 23rd 1912 - January 13rd 1914 and finally of the 21 {{E}} Army corps January 13rd 1914 - March 3rd 1915 with which he leaves in war at the beginning the hostilities in August 1914.
He is named chief of staff of the detachment of army of the Vosges the March 3rd 1915) which becomes the VII {{E}} Armée on April 4th, 1915.
The December 3rd 1915, it receives finally an active command in load of the 43 {{E}} Division of Infantry which it exerts until the October 16th 1916 when it is named ordering 5 {{E}} Army corps. It kept this command until its nomination the May 4th 1917, following the failure of the offensive of the Way of the Ladies, as commander of the VII {{E}} Armée .
It becomes ordering French Army in Belgium the October 15th 1918 which it ordered at the time of the armistice.
After the war, it orders the II {{E}} Armée starting from the November 27th 1918 until the February 11th 1919. It is useful as commander of the 10 {{E}} Military region (March 10th 1919 - March 5th 1920) and as commander of the 10 {{E}} Army corps starting from the September 20th 1919. He is briefly president of the commission of studies interarmées on harnessing the February 6th - December 28th 1920.
He is member of the Superior council of the War of the January 30th 1920 until the December 5th 1924.
He is named Inspector-general of the military academies the February 7th 1924, but it put of availability the December 5th and remains there until its death. It is buried with the Invalides.
