Antoine Perrenot de Granvelle
Antoine Perrenot de Granvelle (August 20th 1517 with Besancon - September 21st 1586 with Madrid) was bishop of Arras, cardinal Archevêque of Malines then , Diplomate, to advise State of the emperor Charles Quint, then of his/her son the king Philippe II of Spain from which it was only Comtois close to confidence, adviser of Marguerite of Parma, Prime Minister of the Spanish Netherlands (of the Cercle of Burgundy), viceroy of Naples and chairs supreme council of Italy and Castille.
He was the son of the Chancelier and Minister of Justice Nicolas Perrenot de Granvelle (1484 - 1550)
