Antoine Labazuy

Antoine Labazuy (known as the Minister ) is a French player of Rugby to XIII and Rugby to XV, born the February 9th 1929 with Carcassonne, deceased the April 13rd 2004 with Lourdes.

From a size of 1 m 70 per 70 kg and player with the frightening kick, it began, after his/her Francois, brother with the Rugby with XIII with the ACE Carcassonne XIII (club champion of France in 1945 and 1946).

He chose in 1947, just like his Francois, brother for Rugby with 15 and occupied the station of center three-quarter, then especially of half of opening to FC Doors (until in 1960) and in national selection.

After having been hotel, it pushed its reconversion on late in the artistic medium of the song.

  • and occupied, during the major part of its career, the station of half of fray at the sides of his/her Antoine younger brother. After having shone with the FC Doors, François Labazuy left to the Stadoceste tarbais in 1959 to finish his rugbystic career with the ST bagnères.
