Antoine III Studite

Antoine Studite or Stoudite was patriarch of Constantinople of December 973 at June 978.

It was Syncelle patriarch Polyeucte at the beginning of the reign of Nicéphore II Phocas. It was charged by Nicéphore II with accompanying the empress Théophanô with the palate by Pétrion located on banks by the Corne by Gold.

As syncelle of Polyeucte, it should have succeeded to him its death in 970, but Basile I {{er}} Scamandrénos preceded it until 973.
