The Major general rank of was the reward of this brilliant deed. Since this time, it took a honourable share in the countryside of 1813. Named, in 1814, ordering the 16th military division, it put Lille in a state of defense. It passed then to the command of the town of Brest, where its control, during the Hundred Days, deserved a sword of honor to him which the municipal council voted to him.

General inspector of infantry of 1816 with 1818, commander higher of the Corsica of 1820 than 1823, it obtained his retirement in 1827, and died the October 8th 1832.
