Antoine Forqueray

The French type-setter Antoine Forqueray was born with Paris Mantes-the-Pretty in September 1672 and died in on June 28th 1745.

Biography

Forqueray is the first of a line of type-setters which includes/understands his brother Michel (1681 - 1757), organist, and its sons Jean-Baptiste (1699-1782) and Nicolas Gilles (1703 - 1761), also organist.
