Antoine Ellen-Provost

Antoine Prévot known as Antoine Ellen-Provost is a French politician born the August 11th 1877 with Auch and deceased the June 5th 1952 with Toulouse.

Militant of the French Section of the International worker, near to the socialist mayor of Toulouse Albert Bedouce, Antoine Ellen-Provost elected is appointed Haute-Garonne in 1910 and is re-elected in 1914. Also general adviser and city council man of the city, he is elected mayor of the City in 1935, station which he preserves until the defeat of 1940.

Giving his support for the Pétain Marshal, Ellen-Provost is excluded from the SFIO to the Release. He then takes part in the creation of the democratic Socialist party at the sides of Paul Faure, the former general secretary of the SFIO. He animates the departmental federation of the PSD at the sides of Albert Bedouce and Emile Berlia, but does not find a political mandate.
