Antoine Désilets
Antoine Désilets (born in 1927 with Montreal) is a Photographe Québécois.
Biography
After secondary studies with Ottawa of 1946 to 1947, it launches out in photography and begins at Canadair in 1955. In 1958, it is tried by the photography of press. It is pointed out by the prices which it gains in various contests of photographs. He will be engaged by the newspaper the Press in 1961 and will work for the Day of 1974 with 1976.He receives many rewards and distinctions in Canada, then in North America. He will be also distinguished by the Ville from Paris which gives to him in 1982 the price of the Musée of photography.
In 1978, it illustrates the 36 sensitive cords of the Inhabitants of Quebec .
During the Years 1980, it is put at contribution in publicities praising the merits of a mark of cameras.
In 1969 and 1970, he is crowned photographer of the year of a regional newspaper by the National Close Photographers Association and will be decorated Chevalier with the National order of Quebec in 1990.
He taught photography with the Université of Dakar to the Senegal.
The books which it published are sold with approximately 700 000 specimens ().
In 2005, FPJQ (Professional federation of the journalists in Quebec) lance the price Antoine-Désilets, for the best photograph of press of the year in Quebec.
