Antoine Blondin

Antoine Blondin , born the April 11th 1922, dead the June 7th 1991, is a French writer. Novelist and journalist, there is known also under the pseudonym Tenorio and remains associated with the movement with the Hussards.

Biography

Wire of the German poetess Cableway and a correct father of printing works, it is a brilliant subject at the school, collecting the prices and the rewards. After studies with the colleges Louis-the-Large in Paris and Corneille in Rouen, it obtains in the Sorbonne a license in letters.

Under the Occupation, it is sent in Germany within the framework of the STO, which inspires to him Europe buissonnière (1949). With this first novel, it collects the attention of authors like Marcel Aymé and Roger Nimier which grants their friendship at once to him. The book obtains the Prix of the Two-Nest eggs .

Other novels follow ( the Children of the good god , Mood roves ), which confirm its talent of feather and the singularity of a style being located between Stendhal and Jules Renard.

Journalist engaged on the right, it collaborates in many newspapers and in particular in the press monarchist: Aspects of France , the French Nation and Rivarol . It is also related to the group of the Hussards and takes part in the adventure of the Roundtable .

He is also sports correspondent, author of many articles published in particular in the Team . He will follow for this twenty-seven newspaper editions of the Tour de France and seven Olympic Games.

He evoked with accents céliniens the passion of alcohol in a monkey in winter (1959), that Henri Verneuil adapted for the cinema three years later in the film of the same name.

He marked the district of Saint-Germain-of-Meadows of his escapades, playing bullfight with the cars, multiplying the visits in the bars and collecting the arrests in a state of advanced intoxication (cf its autobiographical novel Mr Jadis or the School of the evening ).
