Antivirus FProt
F-Prot Antivirus is a Anti-virus software multi-platforms for the operating systems Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh Linux, Solaris, Exchange, IBM eServer and BSD published by the company Icelander Frisk Software.
Supporting many platforms, FRISK Software protects all the work stations from the company, some are the size of the network and the platform used. FRISK Software proposes complete, effective and very economic solutions antivirus (of the prices up to ten times lower than those of its competitors), perfectly adapted to the needs for the company.
The software includes/understands 6 versions segmented according to the platforms:
- Antivirus F-Prot for Windows;
- Antivirus F-Prot for Exchange;
- Antivirus F-Prot for Linux;
- Antivirus F-Prot for BSD;
- Antivirus F-Prot for Solaris;
- Antivirus F-Prot for IBM eServer.
Since its creation in 1993 in Iceland, Frisk International Software, always made party of the companies leaders in the fight against the attacks and the development of solutions. Its founder, Fridrik Skulason, were one of the first people in the world to have developed an antivirus solution in 1989 (F-Prot Antivirus for DOS) and Frisk Software developed the first heuristic scanner in 1991, today a standard in the industry of the antiviruses.
