Antiloop

Antiloop is a Swedish group of Techno, Trance, and of dream. It is composed of two disc jockeys, David Westerlund and Robin Söderman.

In 1996/97 fate their very first album LP , produced by Stockholm Records and published in France by the Polydor label of " PolyGram". This album meets a sharp success on the radios and is sold very well. Extremely on this success, the group decides to continue the adventure in the year 2000 with a second album, Fastlane People , also produced by Stockholm Records, but without the support of the Polydor label. Following this refusal, the album Fastlane People was not published in France and the French media spoke little about it.

Currently, Antiloop is “broken down”: broken down of inspiration, broken down of motivation; their official Web site has seemed also inactive for several years. Capable to wonder << But what makes David Westerlund and Robin Södermann!!? >>, are the fan' S always there, with them? They will make finally a new album or even one 2 titles?! One can make only two things… To wait and/or write to the majors whom one wants that Antillop awakes of sound (very) long sleep!

“One started as DJ, nothing very astonishing,” declares David Westerlund, one of the two members of Antiloop, the duet of Swedish techno-dance. “I make some have a traditional formation, but I of it am distant to be interested in data processing. As DJ, one realized that the major part of the music which one passed was not terrible and one decided to make our own productions. One thus composed some titles which one sent to Fluid Records and apparently, they appreciated them. Our first exit was entitled " Beauty & The Beast" , Robin Söderman, the other member of the group declares. During some time one was the group of dance more played on P3, the principal Swedish radio station.” " Beauty & The Beast" quickly became enormous a hit in the clubs of Stockholm, while the video clip was in rotation on MTV, Z-TV in Sweden and even on Russian television. Antiloop entitles its first Maximum, " N.S.F.M.C" , namely " Not Suitable For Consumption" Farmhouse; , (not adapted to the consumption of mass), while knowing that such a title would be difficult to retain. “But to our great surprise, that went very well. It was not thought that the general public would be sensitive to our mixture of TB-303 (box at mythical rate/rhythm of the Eighties), of happy trance powerful and cords, but does that of it rained and our Maximum entered Signal 30 of individual to Sweden.” Antiloop also remixé of other artists among that E-Type (" Calling Your Name" 17 with the classification Club Billboard) and Aqua (" Doctor Jones" and " Lollipop"). And it is not finished…

Try to follow the rate/rhythm of Antiloop! If Antiloop is such a success in Europe, and recently in France with their first individual " In My Mind" , it is for only one and single reason: Antiloop (David and Robin) is up to all the tricks! Far from the albums techno whose only pretext of existence is the single transitory tube, the duet Antiloop belongs to these artists who decided to compose their own album with their harmonious vision of the current techno. The result: " LP". An astonishing album of ability which combines the synthetic harmonies at the basic rates/rhythms of a resolutely modern techno. " LP" is a voyage which transports us in the middle of the various currents of the techno-house. Your means of transport: the trance. As of takeoff, you will feel transported by synthetic tablecloths enivrantes (" In My Mind" , " I Coil You" , " Nowhere To Hide")… which hides hypnotic superpositions of melodies. Then, like a stopover in the middle of a jungle of androïdes, " Relaxation" analog; you makes divide the calm one of a " techno-ambient" futuristic. But the voyage does not stop there: you are immediately replongés in a country of BPM, all more agitated the ones than the others… This stage, you donot can larger thing there, otherwise than to try to follow the rate/rhythm of Antiloop!
