Antihistamine H2

The antihistamines H2 or anti-H2 are antagonistic drugs of the receivers to the Histamine of the type 2. They act on the level of the parietal Cellule of the stomach to decrease its acid secretion.
They are indicated in the disorders of the gastro-entéro-hepatic system; more precisely in the disorders of Backward flow gastro-œsophagien or Ulcer S gastro-duodénaux.
Among the antihistamines H2, one finds the Cimétidine (Tagamet), the Ranitidine (Azantac, Raniplex), the famotidine (Pepdine) and the nizatidine (Nizaxid).
