Antigua is a commune located at the east of the island of Fuerteventura in the archipelago of the the Canaries (Spain). Antigua is one of the oldest communes of the island and, during XIXe S., it was even during some time the capital of Fuerteventura before losing its statute with the profit of Puerto del Rosario.
