Anthroposophic medicine

The anthroposophic medicine is a form of nonconventional Médecine practiced as from the years 1925. According to the theories of the Anthroposophie, it is necessary, in the therapeutic step, to take account of the 3 components of the human being: body, heart and Spirit.
For that it uses drugs resulting from the mineral kingdoms, plant and animal and Dynamization S of the type homeopathic but also of the remedies for higher concentrations which are connected with Phytothérapie. This medicine also calls upon the therapeutic artistic ones and external care (Massage S, envelopments…).
A private clinic was founded with Arlesheim based on the principles of this medicine and the laboratories Weleda produce homeopathic drugs and products of phytotherapy recommended by anthroposophic medicine.

Apart from the traditional use of certain plants known to have therapeutic virtues, there does not exist clinical study of quality proving the effectiveness of these products. A systematic review published in 2004 did not index any clinical trial of quality which would have evaluated the possible effectiveness correctly of it.

Finally the Anthroposophie, whose anthroposophic medicine is a component, is quoted in the Report/ratio 2005 of the Miviludes about a national conference organized by the GEMPPI on the topic “the refusal of care due ideological”.
