Anthony Parker

Anthony Michael Parker (born the June 19th 1975 with Naperville, Illinois, the United States) is a player of Basket-ball.

He played a time in NBA between 1997 and 1999, then he became a major player in Europe, evolving/moving with the Maccabi Tel-Aviv. On Thursday, July 13, he announced the signing of a professional contract with the Raptors of Toronto bringing back 12 million dollars to him over three years. His/her sister Candace evolves/moves with the Université of Tennessee and aspires to also play it on a good level.

Europe

Parker moves for Israel for the season 2000 - 01 where it signs with the Maccabi Tel-Aviv. It benefits then from the retirement of Doron Sheffer to replace winger shooter then vacant. But it brought to the team much more than whoever had been able to hope for it, by showing stage by stage its ability with the shooting, but also with the rebound, with against, and even with the dunk…

For its first season, it gains with its team the championship and the national cut. Then the Suproleague gains. The following season, it gains the 2 national titles again, and takes along its team to the Final Furnace of the Euroligue. It leaves then Israel in 2002 to sign in January 2003 with the Virtus Rome.

But, nonsatisfied with this ground mid-season Italy, it does not return to the Maccabi, where it is essential largely like the major player.

The season 2003 - 04 is complete for Maccabi, by gaining the championship and the cut in Israel but also the Euroligue. Parker is indicated MVP Final Furnace which is played Tel Aviv. During the final against the Skipper Bologna, Maccabi signs the record for a Final Furnace of Euroligue in term of marked points, difference with the score, success at 2 points, master keys, etc by carrying it 118-74. Parker is also elected MVP of the Israeli championship.

2004 - 05 rhyme with doubled of Maccabi in Euroligue, while making sure once more of national supremacy.
