Anthère
The anthère is the final part of the cheesecloth, body male of the Fleur, which produces and contains the Pollen.
The anthère is fixed at the net of cheesecloth by the “connective one”, either by its base (anthère basifixe), or by its medium (anthère médifixe). It is composed of two cabins, containing each one two pollinic bags, constant number at the Angiosperme S. Those, with maturity, is filled of pollen and amalgamates into two (anthère bilocular), sometimes a cabin (anthère unilocular), and opens, generally by Déhiscence, in order to spread the grains of pollen outside.
The form of the anthères is very variable: it can be lengthened, globulous, réniforme, disciform, etc
In certain cases, the modified anthères can play a part in the attraction of the pollinating insects : anthères sterile coloured or fleshy of certain flowers ( Cassia , Commelina …)
