Antero de Quental
Antero de Quental , (born in 1842 with the the Azores where it commits suicide in 1891 there), bachelor of law of the University of Coimbra is a workman typographer, tireless traveller.
“Prince of Youth”, translator of Goethe, poet and philosopher, dreaded polemist, founder of workers' associations and political newspapers, introducer with the Portugal of the International association of the Workers, it is a brewer of ideas and born leader too often in prey with the depression, large friend of Oliveira Martins and Eça de Queiroz.
In 1987, it had the honor to be represented on the Banknotes Portuguese of 5000 Escudos (approximately 25 euros) image of the ticket
