The antennas are sensory bodies at the Arthropode S. They record the feelings of the Toucher and the Goût. For that, they carry many Sensille S.

They are related to the head or the Céphalothorax.

The antennas can be of the type Uniramé or the type Biramé. In this last case, one of the pairs of antennas can be called antennules .

The Insect S and the Hexapode S have only one pair of antennas, the Crustacé S can have of them 2 pairs, the Arachnide S do not have any.
