Antef III

Antef is a king of the Egyptian woman. He is the son of Antef {{II}}.

The Papyrus of Turin (5.15) has a gap on its name and counts eight years of reign to him.

One locates his reign of -2068 at -2061.

It has as a capital Thèbes and controls only part of the Egypt and will try during its reign to consolidate the positions acquired by its predecessors.

He marries Iah and Henite and he has a son, Montouhotep {{II}}, which succeeds to him, and surely a girl, Néférou . It has its burial with Dra Abou el-Naggah, vis-a-vis Karnak.
