Antanas Smetona

Antanas Smetona , August 10th 1874 - January 9th 1944) was one of the Lithuanian politicians most important of the Entre-deux-guerres. It was the first president of Lithuania of April 4th 1919 at June 19th 1920. It was also the last of December 19th 1926, date on which it seized the authoritative power of way, at June 15th 1940, before the country is not occupied by Soviet. It was also one of most famous the Idéologues of the Lithuanian Nationalisme, while becoming Dictateur starting from 1929.
