He concludes with Artaxerxès II Mnémon, king of Perse, in year 387 before J. - C., a ignominieuse peace: by this treaty, Sparte, with an aim of controlling the Greece, bought the support of the large king by subjecting to him all the Greek cities of the Asia Mineure.
Continued by the general contempt, Antalcidas took refuge in Persia. Driven out by Artaxerxès itself, it returned to Greece and left themselves, says there one, to die of hunger.
