Ansan
Ansan-if (안산시) is a town of South Korea, province of Gyeonggi - C. Its population is approximately 650.000 inhabitants in 2005 (510.000 in 1995).
History
Ansan-if is an extension of the urban entity Ansan-hyeon. The city was created in 1986,10 years after the launching of this plan.
Geography
Position:
- Northern - 37° 22 ' 25" N.L Southern

- Is - 126° 56 ' 29" E. Western
- - 126° 31 ' 45" E.
In the triangle Seoul - Incheon - Suwon, Ansan is located in the middle of the line Incheon - Suwon (with about fifteen kilometers of these two cities and to forty Seoul, very close to the Yellow Mer, in the North-West of the country).
Ansan is connected to the capital by line 4 of the Métro.

Administration
In 1997, the government launched the project Gyeonggi Techno Park to attract companies innovating on the territory of Ansan, but competition is sharp.
