Anousheh Ansari
Anousheh Ansari , born the September 12th 1966 with Mashhad (Iran), is a businesswoman américano- Iran ienne. She became famous in 2006 like the first woman tourist of space. She became at the same time the first Moslem woman and the first Iranian woman with going in space.
Youth
His/her parents and she moved of Mashhad with Teheran shortly after its birth. She emigrated with the the United States in 1984, then not speaking English but wanting to continue her scientific studies. She passed her diploma of first cycle (Bachelor off Science) in electronic engineering and data processing, with the George Mason University, then her Maîtrise ( master' S dismantles ) with the George Washington University.
Creation of companies
After having begun with the company from telecommunication MCI, where it met her husband Hamid Ansari, it creates with him and her brother-in-law Amir Ansari the company Telecom Technologies in 1993. They as well as possible resell it in 2000 of the Bulle Internet in Sonus Networks. Anousheh Ansari appeared in 2001 in the list of the magazine Fortune among the " 40 under 40" (40 personalities of less than 40 years).
Anousheh Ansari then created the company Prodea Systems, which it launches right before leaving in space.
Patron then voyageuse space
With its family, it cofinanced the Ansari X Prize intended to encourage the development of the voyages deprived in space.
She took seat in a vessel Soyuz (flight Soyuz TMA-9) the September 18th 2006 for a 10 days flight in the International space station. Under the pressure of the Russian and American authorities, it will not be able to keep the Iranian flag on its combination, nor to diffuse political message. It was the space first Blog geuse of the history, reporting and answering the Net surfers on line from the space station.
The price of the ticket is estimated at a score of million dollars for a ten days stay.
Activities in orbit
Ansari must take part in several scientific experiments undertaken by the European space agency, having mainly for object the study of certain aspects of the Mal of space:
Neocytolysis experiment
A study of the mechanisms of the Anemia which occurs after a stay in Apesanteur by selective destruction of the young people Hématie S, known as néocytolyse. It is about a reaction of adaptation to the weightlessness: the Blood being retained more in the four members by gravity, accumulates in the upper part of the human body where the hemoconcentration rises then, causing in answer, by the fabric Hématopoïétique, a destruction of the red globules youngest in order to decrease their concentration. This concentration becomes insufficient once turned over on ground, causing anemia in question.
Low Back Bread experiment
A study of the influence of the muscular modifications on the Lombalgie S. Inexplicablement many Astronaute S paid to have suffered from lumbagos whereas they were in weightlessness, although usually the evil of back is a consequence, thinks one of terrestrial gravity. An assumption advanced by scientists to explain this would be that the iliaque Os S must maintain the Sacrum places from there by means of a powerful corset muscular which must increase its tonicity with the rising and decrease during the sleep. This muscular corset would be atrophied, like all the skeletal muscles in the absence of gravity
It is this atrophies muscular which will be measured like its variations at the time of stays in microphone-gravity. A questionnaire concerning the felt lumbagos will be filled out by the astronauts, and measurements will be compared with others realized before and after the space flight to specify the relations graft lumbago and effort/lumbar overwork.
Chromosome-2 experiment
A study of the mutagen effects of the Radiation S on chromosomal DNA of the human being, in particular that of its Lymphocyte S on blood sample. This kind of exposure to radiations cannot be simulated on ground but requires a real space environment to be studied with for objective the optimization of the radiation protection devices of the future missions of exploration.
Sample experiment
A study of the populations Bacterium on board ISS. Indeed, weightlessness can prove to be a growth factor of pathogenic bacteria and also of Résistance to the antibiotics. Also a possible contamination by such germs is a risk to be taken with the serious one. Bacteriological taking away will be carried out on the level of the switches, the keyboards and the sanitary facilities, for example.
