Annual meadow grass


The annual meadow grass ( Poa annua L.) is small a annual Plante herbaceous of the poacée family of the S (subfamily of the Pooideae , tribe of the Poeae ). Very common, she is generally regarded as a Mauvaise grass.

General description

The annual meadow grass can reach 30 cm, but generally much less and is sometimes turfing. The ears are of pyramidal form; the épillets of color blanchâtre, sometimes coloured are purplished on their external half.

The plant flowers all the year, from January to December, as soon as the temperatures were radoucissent.

Distribution

This plant is widespread in all the areas of moderate climate of the world. It is a species which deserves the qualifier of ubiquist.
