Annick Bureaud

Annick Bureaud is critic art and enquiring in the field of art and the technosciences.

She lives and works in Paris, France. She is the director of Leonardo/Olats, the site of publication in French-speaking line associated with Leonardo/Isast. As an art critic, it contributes to Art Close. She teaches with the EESI (Schools of art of Angouleme and Poitiers) and taught at the School of art of Aix-en-Provence. She teaching was invited to the School off the Art Institute Chicago /SAIC in 1999 and to the Université from Quebec in Montreal UQAM in 2001.

In 2002, it Co-published the compilation of texts Connections: art, networks, media , published by Ensba; she Co-organized the international symposium Artmedia VIII: esthetics of the communication to the Net art and it ensured the online edition of the acts of the conference on the Web site of Leonardo/Olats.

In 2003, it organizes the conference Visibilité - Legibility of space art. Art and Revolved Zero: the experiment of the parabolic flights , project in collaboration between Leonardo/Olats and the international festival @rt Outsiders in Paris.

In 2004, it publishes " The Basic ones: art " multimédia" , work of introduction to the art of the new media on the site of Olats.

It is the Co-director of " SpaceartS" , the database on space art, joint project of Leonardo/Olats and the Foundation Bear
