Annibale de Gasparis
Annibale de Gasparis (April 9th 1819 - March 2nd 1892) is a Astronome and Italian Mathématicien .
Gasparis is born with Bugnara in the the Abruzzi.
He discovers 9 Astéroïde S of 1849 with 1865.
Of 1864 with 1889 he is director of the Observatoire of Capo di Monte near to Naples. It publishes nearly 200 memories in annals of the Académie of Naples, the reports of the Academy of Science and the Astronomische Nachrichten -- notes of astronomy.
He was also professor of astronomy to the Université of Naples and senator of the Royaume of Italy. He receives the Gold medal of Royal Astronomical Society in 1851 as well as the Médaille Herschel of the Royal Astronomical Society.
The asteroid (4279) De Gasparis, a crater on the the Moon as well as a 93 km length fracture on the basis of the edge of the crater bears its name.
