Annett Böhm
Annett Böhm , born the January 8th 1980 with Meerane, is a German judokate which evolves/moves in the category of -70 kg (otherwise called average weight). Already world bronze medal in 2003, Allemande gained the bronze medal at the time of the Olympic tournament of -70 kg with Athens in 2004.
Revealed by a European title junior in 1997 with Ljubljana then by a title of vice-champion in 1999 with Rome, it is not long in illustrating himself on the level senior while appearing in the foot of the continental podium in 2000. It obtains thereafter good performances at the time of the major tournaments (Tournoi of Paris or Fukuoka) until conquering its first international medal in a major international competition with the championships of the world 2003 with Osaka. Qualified for the Olympic Games of Athens in 2004, it reaches the last square but is beaten by the Dutchwoman Edith Bosch. By beating the Belgian Catherine Jacques at the time of the match for the third place, it is comforted with the Olympic bronze medal. The judokate since multiplied the places of honor in the major tournaments (championship victories of the world, 5th place with the world 2005).
