Anner Bylsma
Anner Bylsma (born the February 17th 1934 with $the Hague) is a Violoncelliste Dutch, at the same time interprets modern repertory, and repertory baroque on old instruments.
Biography
He studies near Carel van Boomkamp with the royal Academy of $the Hague which initiates it with the art of the violoncello baroque, and gains, in 1959, the First price with the international Contest Pablo-Casals of Mexico City. From 1962 to 1968, it is violoncello solo with the Orchestre of Concertgebouw of Amsterdam.For the repertory baroque, he plays on a Goffriller of 1695 and for the modern repertory on Pressanda of 1835. He also uses a Stradivarius of 1701, the Servais, that lends to him the Smithsonian Institute of Washington.
