Anne of the Bar (1628 - 1688) is a singer, Luth ist, Claveciniste and French dancer.

She is the girl of Pierre III Chabanceau of the Bar, organist of the king Louis XIII. She studies the song with Pierre de Nyert, then Michel Lambert.

She is invited by the queen Christine of Sweden. She arrives at Stockholm on June 20th, 1653 when she occurs as singer and dancer. She leaves Sweden after the abdication of the queen the following year, and on the way of return occurs at the court of Denmark at the request of Sophie-Amélie, marries of the king Frederic III.

Of return in France, it takes part between 1656 and 1669 in all the musical festivals, in particular of the ballets where dance the young king Louis XIV. Collaborations with Miss Hilaire and Italian Anne Bergerotti will be famous.
