Anne de Pisseleu
Anne de Pisseleu , duchess of Stamps , was a Favori you of François I {{er}}, born towards 1508, and deceased towards 1580.
It resulted from the family Pisseleu d' Heilly, poor family but of old woman and nobility. She was first of all girl of honor of Louise of Savoy, mother of François Ier, before becoming the mistress of this last.
She was eighteen years old when this prince knew it. To sit his position at the court, one made him marry a large ruined lord, Jean IV of Brush, which accepted the county of Étampes, that François I {{er}} set up in duchy in 1536. Miss d' Heilly became in this way duchess of Stamps.
She was the favorite one in title of François I {{er}}, and she could remain it until the death of the king, the March 31st 1547. She fell then in disgrace, and was continued pitilessly by the jealousy of Diane of Poitiers, which had undergone its years to be able. The business of Jarnac was one of the consequences of this jealousy. Anne de Pisseleu had to restore the jewels that François I {{er}} had offered to him and to undergo a lawsuit in high treason for her relations with Charles Quint before being banished court.
She withdrew herself on her grounds and embraced the Protestantisme, forgotten of all, at a point such as one is unaware of the exact date of her death.
