Anne Jagellon
Anne Jagellon or Anne of Hungary (July 23rd, 1503 - January 27th, 1547) is the girl of Vladislas, king de Bohême and of Hungary.
During three years, it is the single heiress of the thrones of Bohemia and Hungary, then is born its junior Louis who dies tragically, in 1527, at the twenty years age, leaving the crowns to Anne and her husband, Ferdinand of Austria.
It gives the day to ten children:
- Elisabeth (1526 - 1545) wife Sigismond II Auguste, king de Pologne
- Maximilien (1527 - 1576), which will become emperor of the Holy roman Empire
- Anne (1528 - 1590) wife in 1546 Albert V of Bavaria (1528-1579)
- Ferdinand (1529 - 1595) to which falls the archduchy of the Tyrol and which marries morganatiquement, in 1557, Filipino Welser (1527-1580) then, in 1582, Anne Catherine de Mantoue (1566-1621), girl of Guillaume de Mantoue
- Marie (1531 - 1581) wife in 1546 Guillaume de Clèves (1516-1592).
- Catherine (1533 - 1572) which marries, in 1549, François III of Mantoue (1533-1550) then, in 1553, Sigismond II Auguste (1520-1572), widower of his sister Elisabeth
- Éléonore (1534 - 1594) wife Guillaume de Mantoue (1538-1587)
- Barbara (1539 - 1572) wife Alphonse II, Duc of Modena and Ferrare
- Charles (1540 - 1590) wife Marie Anne of Bavaria (1551-1608)
- Jeanne (1547 - 1578) wife in 1565 François Ier de Médicis (1541-1587), large-duke of Tuscany; it is the mother of Marie de Médicis
Zapolski, Voïvode of Transylvania, having come to besiege Vienna, Anne, who was locked up, showed there much courage and firmness. She died in Prague in 1547.
