Anne Charles Lebrun , duke of Plaisance, born with Paris the December 28th 1775 and deceased in 1859 was a French soldier.

Wire of the third consul Charles-François Lebrun, it was 25 years old when it entered the military career, after the 18 brumaire. He was attached to the general Desaix in the capacity as assistance-of-camp; he accepted it in his arms when he was struck with died in the fields of Marengo. Following this battle Mr. Lebrun was named colonel of the 3rd hussards and made with the head of this regiment the countryside of 1805, during which it was charged by the Emperor with bringing to Paris the news of the victory of Austerlitz.

The Bataille of Eylau was worth with colonel Lebrun the Brigadier general rank of . It obtained that of Major general, the February 23rd 1812, before the departure for the Campagne of Russia; it was created moreover Count of the Empire and Grand Cross of the Ordre of the Meeting.

In 1813 the Lebrun general was named large officer of the Légion of honor and governor of the town of Antwerp which it had to preserve of the invasion of the enemy; but in the first months of 1814, Napoleon i entrusted this command to Carnot.

Mr. Lebrun adhered to the re-establishment Bourbon S, was made Chevalier of Saint-Louis and was sent in the 14th military division in the capacity as police chief of the king.

With the return of Napoleon, the duke of Pleasure, father of the general, having begun again his position of architrésorier, and moreover having been called with the ministry for the state education, the Lebrun general was as of on March 27th, charged by Napoleon with going to take in Champagne the command which had just left the marshal Duc of Bellune. It moreover was named with the Chambre of the representatives by the Département of Seine-et-Marne. At the Second Restoration, the Lebrun general was put of availability. Died of his/her father, in 1824, it succeeded to him in its title of Pair and duke of Pleasure.

In 1833 it was named Grand Cross of the Legion of honor.

The duke of Pleasure married the girl of Mr. of Bored-Marbois.

He is reproduced under the name of Lebrun on the Triumphal arch of the Star, west coast.
